About Vivace

What inspires you to create?

What inspires me to create is my heart and my soul. Painting is something I have a need to do and when the feeling strikes me, I must put paint to canvas.

For me, it's a meditation, a blend of the colors I dreamt of the night before. Sometimes my dreams are so vivid I wake up at 3am to lay the colors down while they are still bright in my memory.

I play music while I paint, and the process becomes a dance of the explosion of color onto the empty canvas.

How did you choose your brand name ‘Vivace’?

I have a branding guru, Chris Power-Gomez and after working together for several months and seeing who I am as a person and artist, he created my brand Vivace'.

Vivace' represents the essence of me.

I am filled with positive energy and a vibrancy that is a way of life, it is who I am. I am Vivace'.

What are you currently working on?

I currently am working on a large fluid acrylic piece called Heaven. I also have two commissions in progress and shipping out a painting to one of my patrons who regularly purchases my art.

I am a licensed artist and work with IMAGIO Glass here in the US and they are the twin of CreoGlass. We both create art in people's homes. I am also a licensed artist with EACGS.

Other than creating your gorgeous art, how else do you like to spend your time?

I like to spend my time with my daughter and son-in-law who lives 20 minutes from me. I ride a Trikke T12 Roadster 3,000 miles a year in a global challenge competing with riders across the globe to see who can ride the most miles. So far, I hold the record for the last 5 years at 3,000+ miles. As i get older my knees are giving me trouble so I will be switching to the Electric Unicycle next for my thrills.

I also love to go indoor skydiving and my goal is to be the #1 indoor skydiving champ in my age group.

How would you describe your art style in one sentence?

My art style is abstract fluid acrylic with floating sparkles and shimmers.

Where are you based?

I am currently in the Sarasota, Florida area of the US.
