Increase elegance, and give your home and modern and open feel.
Our glass staircase balustrades come in a similar range of designs and layouts to our glass decking balustrades. These balustrades can come in a post and rail system using both posts on the top, bottom and sides of the glass and with clamps for support.
®CreoGlass glass staircase balustrades also come with a base rail only or as infinity glass. A range of different clamps and fittings are available with these glass balustrades to ensure you get the exact glass balustrade you envisioned.
A balustrade is a railing supported by balusters, especially one forming an ornamental parapet to a balcony or landing. Traditionally, a staircase has balusters in the form of moulded shafts - often wooden or metal spindles - which multiplied form a balustrade.
Traditional staircase railings are designed to be practical, but don’t have that wow factor. Glass staircase banister and staircase balustrade systems are popular today as they look stunning, expanding the view line and reflecting light.
Yes. Stairs should have a handrail on at least one side if they are less than 1m wide and a handrail on both sides if they are wider than 1m.
All glass panels from ®CreoGlass Design are toughened and 100% safe for children. The glass is toughened glass which is manufactured by heating regular glass to 650°C and then cooling it back down. If the glass is put under pressure it will break into blunt pieces rather than sharp shards. If you want to see how tough the glass is, take a look at our ®CreoGlass video.
