Which Glass Splashback Should I Choose?

Style and design advice for our glass splashbacks

Glass Splashbacks have the ability to revamp a kitchen or bathroom completely. It can be tricky to find the perfect one with so many different choices, so we thought we would help. Here, at CreoGlass, we have put together a guide on our glass splashbacks to help you decide which style is right for you.

It would be best if you considered a few factors. How do you want your home to feel? Modern? Classic? Cottage? Contemporary? Do you want to make a statement or be subtle? Would you prefer to be bold and bright, or choose subtle, muted colours? Do you want to complement or contrast the other features in the room, such as the kitchen cabinets? Would you like to use the splashback as an alternative to a feature art wall? Are you looking to increase the feeling of space and light?

Classic Coloured Glass

Our classic coloured glass is our entry-level glass, and therefore the cheapest option. The classic range keeps it simple. We can colour match to any colour, so no options are off the table. We offer the Classic Coloured Splashbacks in either a Glossy or Matte finish.

Our glossy glass has a high shine finish. Their surface reflects any light sources you have around them, giving them their glossy, shiny effect. The matte finish glass vs the glossy finish is a matter of taste. Some people prefer the chic matte effect over high gloss. Maybe you have glossy cabinets and want to contrast these with a matte finish splashback.

When it comes to choosing a colour, you can think about whether you want to make a statement or want your splashback to blend into the room.

Bold colours can contrast exciting features, such as if you have light kitchen cabinets, you'd like to counter with a dark or bright colour.

As we can colour match to any colour, some people like to choose features in the room to create these as a splashback colour, such as a current wall colour, a sofa or these vases below.

Our glitter splashbacks create a beautiful light dispersion. If you're after a luxurious feel, our glitter splashbacks can help you achieve this through subtle sparkle or full-on 100% Luxury.

Mirrored Glass

We're all guilty of wishing our kitchen was more spacious. Our mirrored glass is a fantastic way to achieve this feeling without having any structural work done! The highly reflective surface of our toughened mirror splashbacks reflects the kitchen back on itself to give the illusion it's double the size! On top of this, the mirror splashback reflects any light sources to increase the kitchen's brightness.

Another positive of choosing a toughened mirror splashbacks is that only the exciting colours of the kitchen will feature in the splashbacks. This means you won't be at risk of any colour clashes! You can redesign your kitchen, paint any walls, and your kitchen splashbacks will continually adapt to its environment. You'll never have to worry that your splashback is outdated in your home.

If the plain mirrored splashback is too overpowering for you, our bronze or grey tinted finishes might be for you. The bronze finish adds warm tones to your kitchen, while the grey gives a darker, more muted reflection.

Stencilled Glass

If you're looking for a personalised, unique splashback, you can choose a stencilled splashback design. We each stencil design by hand, so you have the flexibility to create a design that's never been seen before.

Stencilled splashbacks allow you to portray a message that shines outward to family members and guests. Often people choose a motto or slogan that will spark a smile in anyone who enters the room.

We can use contrasting colours within a stencilled splashback to incorporate features around the room. For example, you maybe have a white kitchen with a black tap and black cabinet handles. You could choose a red splashback to contrast while adding colour, then select a black stencil to complement your faucet and handles. This will create a synergy within the room.
