CLASSIC BS COLOURS
British Standards are the standards produced by BSI Group which is incorporated under a Royal Charter (and which is formally designated as the National Standards Body (NSB) for the UK). The BSI Group produces British Standards under the authority of the Charter (Wikipedia)
This colour chart is not as widely used as one could expect. This is predominantly due to the marketing powers of other colour chart brands like DULUX, PANTONE and RAL. Never the less BS Colour chart has been developed and standardised on bases of British demand for generations and so should not be overlooked. A prime example is very popular “SIGNAL RED” colour. Signal red is trivial name used by RAL and BS, however the colour is ever so slightly different. RAL Signal Red is darker shade where as BS Signal Red is beautiful bright red full of vibrancy and so is more popular among CreoGlass Customers.
The colours depicted on the following chart are for guidance only. The displayed colour will depend on your monitor and browser and pearl or metallic colours cannot be shown adequately. The finished colour, therefore, may not be as shown here.
Note: Once you’ve chosen the right colour shades write down the colour code and don’t forget to email it to us when enquiring.
